SO, I finally got some pictures taken (with my new home-made incredibly poor quality light box!) of my main block of goblins which is almost finished! Also of the wolf riders which I’ve started. Things are starting to come together-ish

So, obviously it’s been a while since I updated. I’m going to try and get some more pictures this week coming up. I’m up to 24 goblins (with a unit filler :X ) and the 2 characters. I’ve got some wolf riders to make too. There are two things I’m still kind of stumped on: What to do with my chariot base (I’m scratch building the chariot) and what to do for my doom diver. I want the DD to be very unique. Oh well, I’ll figure it out.
So, It’s been awhile and I haven’t been painting as much as I’d like to but I have got some more goblins finished! Six so far!

Also, here is an idea of what I’m doing for the goblins with hand weapons (I think I mentioned I’m making most/all of them from scratch)
So, I’ve got a couple of WiPs but apparently I can’t post them because of some IO error. Thanks internet! I’ll get some more pictures and try them, though. Maybe the army will be done by then!
Alright, I should be getting a goblin regiment box today (I love how long it takes to get anything here in the islands. Great stuff.) Hopefully, with the help of this link: http://home.westbrabant.net/~besem/modeling/goblins.html I can make 25 little gits out of it. The problem arises, what about hand weapons? Well, Games workshop, in their infinite wisdom didn’t supply hand weapons with the goblin regiment box (as I’m sure most of you know) so I’m going to have to make do with my own skills and supplies.
The plan: Take the spear arms and hack them up to be the sizes of ax/club shafts and use green stuff to either clubbify, axify, or pickify them. For the axes and picks I’m going to probably need to use paper clips to reinforce the green stuff.
I’m hoping that this will be relatively easy (haha, it wont) and look pretty good (maybe?)

So, an old friend of my father started a blog to mimic my own blog. Everyone is doing it now. Why? Because I am a trend setter.
Anyway, he’s like 95 now or something so his minis may all look like they’ve been done with one of those old vibrating pens. Check it out, all you fans, you.

I figure with this list I’ll have a nice, sizable bunker unit for my general to hide in along with another okay sized block for support and such. The squig block will add a bit of punch to the list for things I don’t want coming at my main blocks. Snotlings for charge blocking and such. The rest is pretty self-explanatory. The BSB will hide most of the time but can join units if I need the model count or a few extra hits.
